通常助動詞は弱めるが、否定形は強める。

私は腹を立てるべきではありませんでした。

 

shouldn’tはshouldを強める。should notという場合はnotを強める。shouldn’tの後に来るもう一つの助動詞haveは否定形ではないので弱める。
